It was a long week of minor ailments such as itchy skin, sores, headaches, joint pain and other miscellaneous illnesses....until a woman came in with severe headaches and explained her situation to us...She had been to a specialist for headaches and dizziness after her doctor was unable to find the cause and after a CAT scan, a tumor was diagnosed...however her family had urged her to get a second opinion. She had another CAT scan which revealed the problem...worms had infested her brain and the tumor was a cyst from the parasites. She was treated with antibiotics....But she wants to know how to kill the worms...I am at a loss as to how to treat her or to find anyone else who can....would really appreciate any advice from our forum readers. This is a bit out of my league.

What an appalling story.

You could try contacting The Hospital for Tropical Diseases in London http://www.thehtd.org/

There is an page where you can contact them and a section specifically for Doctors to contact them.  It is just possible that they may know something.
