Sometimes people ask what are the more unusual things that we have seen at Crisis Care clinic...OK...here are some.
Man arrives at the clinic at 2 a.m. with a knife sticking out of the back of his head......due to a fight in a disco....successfully removed the knife and stitched up...gave anti-biotics.
Toddler aged 2 years....with a ball pen through the roof of his mouth, narrowly missing the brain....was running around the house with the pen in his mouth....and tripped. With the help of our nurse, removed the pen and took the child to hospital.....was fine after a couple of days...and the parents learned not to allow the child to have a ball pen !!

More to come........
